At Tintern AbbeyWhilst ASE initiates community integration through Volunteering Opportunities, and travel and enrichment through the Day Trips, Study Trips, Oxford and Stratford, we also understand that part of studying abroad is to branch out and explore on your own. Nelson House has some excellent travel reference books, and the staff keeps up-to-date material on events in Bath and tips for other areas of the UK and Europe.

As well as posting local events on message boards all over Nelson House, ASE provides a weekly 'What's On in Bath and ASE' to keep students informed.

ASE also has links with HOST, which allows any student who wishes the opportunity to spend a weekend or longer with a British family during their stay.
