Linley House through the colonnadeThis historic eighteenth-century house can be found in a small cobbled street just opposite Nelson House. It houses up to 8 students in spacious twin bedrooms, with an elegant dining room and living room with TV and VCR, 2 kitchens and 2 bathrooms. There is a pretty patio to the rear of the house where students can enjoy some fresh air right in the centre of the City on warm days. Linley is traditionally an all female residence.

Linley girls studying in the common roomLinley House was bought and restored by ASE in 1996. The listed (historic) building was owned in the eighteenth-century by the Linleys, whose daughter eloped with playwright Richard Sheridan (a former resident of Nunes House). Linley House is in the heart of the city centre, with all the main shops, stores and attractions just a few steps away. Click here to see more pictures of Linley House.

NB: Housing is assigned at the sole discretion of ASE staff.
