Student Affairs Officer

Emma joined ASE in 2010. She has oversight for the Social and Cultural Programme, and for Admissions, at ASE. In conjunction with Hugh, she plans ASE’s trips and events, and encourages students to get involved with the local community. Emma also facilitates the Certificate of Cultural Enrichment.

Emma is a graduate of The University of Exeter, where she studied History, especially nineteenth- and twentieth-century European history. Her dissertation concerned the use of opium in nineteenth-century England.

In her spare time Emma enjoys running, tap dancing, hiking, and going to see films and live music.
