Volunteer

As an ASE alum there are a number of ways in which you can get involved, and offer your time to help ASE.

Support ASE’s Recruitment Programme

We know that the enthusiasm and recommendations of our alums are among the most important tools for recruiting future students to the Programme. As well as asking our on-campus alums to add their voices at our info-tables and presentations, we’re often on the lookout for other alums to come and help out - especially at study abroad fairs when the regular ASE recruitment team cannot attend. If you’d like to help out contact us.

Submit a testimonial

You will have seen other alums’ testimonials on the ASE website: reflections on their time with the Programme, and its significance for their future studies, careers and lives. We’d like to keep these testimonials fresh and up-to-date by adding new ones on a regular basis. If you’d like to submit your thoughts and feelings on the Programme contact us.

Become an Alumni Mentor

If you think your own academic and professional experiences post-ASE could be helpful to a current student or recent graduate looking for the right opportunity, grad school course or college, or for that next step on their career path, do contact us.

Act as a Class, Regional or Board Rep

Our Alumni Reps are essential to the smooth running of the Alumni Association, and to keeping alums engaged and in contact.

CLASS REPS are the ambassadors for ASE amongst their classmates, working to maintain and increase alumni engagement, and acting as a conduit for information. The position is usually held for a maximum of five years. If your class doesn’t have a rep yet, or you would like to be considered for the position in future contact us.

REGIONAL REPS are the ambassadors for ASE in major metropolitan areas or other regions, the scope of which is defined by ASE. The regional Rep’s work is to maintain and increase alumni engagement, especially assisting ASE find support for recruitment and organising alumni social events. The position is usually held for a maximum of five years. If you would like to be considered as a Regional Rep contact us.

ADVISORY REPS are the voice of the Alumni Association within ASE’s Advisory Council. Working alongside faculty, staff and study abroad professionals from Franklin and Marshall College and our partner institutions, they contribute advice that can have a direct bearing on ASE’s future. The position is held for five years. We will be looking for applicants for the 2018-2023 term in late 2017.
