Mentoring Plus is a charity dedicated to serving vulnerable young people in Bath and North East Somerset. We train and support adult volunteers to mentor 7-21 year olds needing extra support with family, education, emotional needs and employability. With the help of the community, Mentoring Plus encourages young people who are struggling to reach their potential. 

This internship offers the chance to learn about the inner workings of a community charity from a dedicated and welcoming team of employees. The intern’s varied role will have an immediate positive impact and build relevant skills: fundraising and community development activities, helping to build our online community, desk research, supporting seasonal events through preparation and participation, and engaging with donors and volunteers from the region. The young people served particularly value meeting international students to share different perspectives and experiences, and we aim to make such connections part of every internship, too.
